Numbers Foundation is a non-governmental organization that was founded on December 7, 2019 in Tanzania by Mr. Agrey Kimaro and friends. The Foundation was established in response to a growing concern about the general performance of mathematics in Tanzania and its potential impact on the future development of professions that require strong mathematics and science skills.
The primary reason for commencing Numbers Foundation was to address the significant challenges faced by students in mathematics education in Tanzania. Mr. Agrey Kimaro recognized that a strong foundation in mathematics is essential for success in various fields, including Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) professions. However, there was a need for additional support and resources to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics in the country.
Since its establishment in 2019, Numbers Foundation has experienced significant growth and has achieved several major accomplishments.
